Night of Museums 2026: Over 150 Warsaw Venues Open Their Doors

Warsaw’s annual Night of Museums will take place on May 16th, with a record 157 participating venues opening their doors to the public free of charge. The event, one of the largest cultural happenings in the Polish capital, is expected to attract over 500,000 visitors.

This year’s highlights include a special augmented reality exhibition at the POLIN Museum, a live performance at the National Museum’s Egyptian Gallery, and a laser show at the Warsaw Rising Museum. The Royal Castle will host an exclusive evening concert by the Warsaw Philharmonic.

For the first time, organizers have introduced a dedicated app that allows visitors to plan routes, check wait times at popular venues, and access audio guides in multiple languages including English, Ukrainian, and German.

Free shuttle buses will run between major venues from 7 PM to 3 AM. The full list of participating institutions and their schedules is available at noc-muzeow.waw.pl.
