Michelin Guide 2026: Warsaw Gains Three New Starred Restaurants

The Michelin Guide has awarded stars to three additional Warsaw restaurants in its 2026 edition, bringing the city’s total to nine starred establishments. The new additions reflect Warsaw’s rapidly maturing fine dining scene.

Receiving their first stars are Bottiglieria 1881, praised for its innovative take on Polish-Italian fusion; Kieliszki na Próżnej, recognized for its exceptional natural wine pairing menu; and Szóstka, a newcomer in the Powiśle district that combines molecular gastronomy with traditional Masovian cuisine.

Chef Aleksander Baron’s Aleje 3 retained its two-star rating, remaining the only two-star restaurant in Poland. “Warsaw’s food scene has undergone an incredible transformation,” said Gwendal Poullennec, international director of the Michelin Guide. “The creativity and quality here rivals cities with much longer culinary traditions.”

The guide also recognized 22 Warsaw restaurants with the Bib Gourmand designation for excellent value, including several in the Praga and Mokotów districts.
